What is PRP?

PRP Injections for Hair Loss Treatment

PRP treatment begins by a trained phlebotomist collecting a small amount of the patient’s blood. The blood is then spun in a centrifuge to separate red blood cells from the platelets. Prior to treatment, the injection site is numbed to ensure treatment is as comfortable as possible. The injections are targeted to areas on the scalp and hairline with the most hair loss. Downtime after treatments is minimal and may result in some redness or bruising.

We recommend starting with a series of 4 treatments spaced 1 month apart. Following the initial series maintenance treatments are required for optimal results.
